As Swamiji's earthly journey drew to a close, his disciples and devotees witnessed a poignant moment of transition. With the utmost grace and serenity, Swamiji embraced the final chapter of his mortal existence, knowing that his eternal soul would continue its divine journey beyond the limitations of the physical realm. Swamiji's passing away marks the completion of a life dedicated to spreading divine wisdom, compassion, and spiritual awakening. Though Swamiji's physical presence may no longer be with us, his teachings and spiritual presence continue to resonate within the hearts of countless devotees and disciples. His teachings and timeless wisdom continue to guide seekers on their spiritual paths, illuminating the way towards self-realization and liberation. Disciples and devotees carry the torch of his teachings, ensuring that his spiritual light shines on, inspiring generations to come.
At the sacred site of Swamiji's Samadhi at Poovathumkal, in accordance with his profound interest documented in his book 'Putriyam,' a majestic banyan tree was carefully planted. Surrounding to this revered tree, a sacred sanctum was raised where 108 lamps can be kindled. During auspicious occasions, devotees gather to ignite these lamps, their radiant flames reflecting the ardent prayers of devotees. The banyan tree, nurtured by the devotion and love it receives, continues to flourish, casting its benevolent shade and serving as a divine blessing for both humankind and all sentient beings. This timeless banyan tree, with its steady growth and sacred aura, stands as a living testament to the enduring legacy of Sreedhara Swamikal and his eternal connection to the spiritual realm.
